Lines I Love- SG

Spiritual Gangster offers a unique line of tanks, tees, & hoodies for both men & women. Their fun and quirky designs will have both yogis & non yogis drooling. Their products are comfy & easy to wear.  I keep falling in love with their designs & sayings season after season. The Arizona based company believes in representing a new generation of yogis who seek balance between the ancient practice of yoga & our modern world. SG is more than a clothing line. It is more than looking good, it is doing good. SG provides a meal to a person in need for every single item purchased.
I always size up in this line. I like my to & from yoga gear to be a little longer to help cover the bum.

If you live in the Quebec City area stop by Hot Yoga Prana & pick up the newest good from this line. For all others, shop it here.

Must Have Monday- What this mama needs

This Must Have Monday is dedicated to everything that makes me feel better. While most of the morning sickness has disappeared I still don't feel like my normal self. That is to be expected right? There is something wonderful growing inside of me!
1. The largest bottle of Bio-Oil I have ever seen. Thank you Costco. I use this yummy smelling liquid on my belly every evening. I did notice it stains clothing or bedding so you have to rub it in really good.
2. L'Occitane Shea Butter is my go to every morning belly moisturizer. It goes on light & smells dreamy. Hoping to eliminate the chance of stretch marks.
3. This purple box can be seen all over my house. It pops up next to my bed, on my desk, even in the car. These little guys are delish and soothe any tummy uneasiness.
4. Tum-tasticular is what they should really be called. I pop these suckers like mentos. What more can you ask for from a fruity tablet that cures all heartburn?

Feel Good Friday- Yoga Time

Summer time means yoga time for me! I have the privilege of teaching at Hot Yoga Prana in Quebec City. This unique studio offers several style classes to meet all of your yoga needs. The studio is the only space in Quebec City where you can purchase lululemons fab goods. Living in a French dominated city I am so honored I am able to offer my classes in English. I love being able to share my style of teaching with others. If you live in this area or happen to be traveling here, I would love to see you in class.
Check out the hours here.

Swing of Things

We only had a few weeks to settle into our new place before we jetted off to the wedding. So we were excited to return home as a married couple & officially settle in. We are getting used to balancing our summer schedules. So far it has been nothing short of entertaining.
Hubby cooking up a storm. Root veggie risotto with carrot butter. Yummmmy.
Our friends & their little guy came to stay for a night & check out our new place. Showing them city life.
Bearsy loving the water at the cabin with my in-laws.
Enjoying the afternoon sun on our front patio.
Teaching yoga at the very top of the pyramid here in Quebec (inside, duh).

Sweet Nights

The food in St. Barths isn't too shabby. So it isn't surprising we had some of the best meals on the island. Sunsets, great company, & drool worthy food = the best combination.
A girl could get used to this.
On the Rocks restaurant @ our hotel. The view at dinner was priceless.
Gruyere fondue paired with potatoes, prosciutto, & homemade croutons. Unbelievable, I must recreate ASAP.
Normally I prefer salty to sweet. However, this trip the baby had me reaching for everything sweet in site!
As if desserts after dinner weren't enough; these little treats were left on our pillows each evening. You know I can't resist macaroons :)

R & R

Eden Rock in St. Barths was the absolute perfect destination for our honeymoon. Our days were full of sun, good food, & relaxation. Here's some of our favorite times.
Daily gourmet breakfast...steps from the beach. Can you say homemade nutella doughnuts?
Distance from chair to water. Perfection.
Surprise! Cruisin' the island in my fave form of transportation, mini!
The view from the top.
Hitting the waves. Minus hubby, he may or may not have lost his wedding ring on our first paddle boarding adventure.

Must Have Monday- Magic Stick

Wedding festivities = amazing shoes. I would not have been able to make it through dinner, dancing, or just walking without a magic blue stick. The week of my wedding my bff shared her secret blister protection with me. Thank goodness. Dr. Scholls anti-friction blister stick goes on smooth & esily. Apply it to your blister prone areas (aka your entire foot if you have wide feet like me) it creates an invisible barrier between you & your drop dead gorgeous shoes. Any rubbing is protected by the magic shield, thus allowing you dance the night away. This product is small enough to fit in your clutch & will only cost you $6.99. Pick it up at your local drugstore.
Band Aid makes a product very similar & works just as well. So don't fret if your CVS doesn't carry the exact brand.

Full Plate

The sun had set and we had become Mr. & Mrs. What next? We headed to Moulin Fou, an out of this world French restaurant. To our surprise the private room had been transformed into a strikingly beautiful space. Fresh local flowers were sprinkled all around the floor. An explosion of red, hearts, and all things romantic filled the room. We had an outstanding 4 course meal paired with magnificent wine (so I heard). The room, the company, the food, it was the absolute perfect combination. What a celebration.
Platform champagne flutes..amaze.

The Wedding Day

I would like to say the day of my wedding was stress free, but I can't. Rewwwwinnnnnndddd

It was wonderful waking up with my best friend & mom who had spent the night with me. We enjoyed my ultimate favorite blueberry bagels, strawberry cream cheese, lucky charms & a coffee for breakfast. My dad joined us and it was a relatively peaceful morning. Until, we realized my dress was way too deep in the front & the undergarments I had brought with were completely wrong. My parents were absolute life savers & found a hut with the word "sewing" on it. The cheeto eating man added a hook in just the right spot. My dress was returned to me altered & fake cheese free. From then on it was a rather relaxing afternoon filled with loud music, dancing, & getting ready. The ceremony was absolutely perfect... short, intimate & romantic. The sun peeked through & we were able to get some pretty breathtaking photos.

Bummin' Around

Crazy fun times on the island...
Sun, friends, food, shopping, colorful architecture, bright lights, love.
(First 5 photos were taken by Mr. Tom Horgen & his mad skills)

The Night Before

Now I wouldn't call the night before the wedding the rehearsal dinner because quite honestly it wasn't. We didn't practice walking down the beach or where we we would stand. Rather, we partied.  My parents were so gracious to host a pizza & wine night in our eclectic suite. It started with a champagne toast by the pool & ended with dancing on chairs to Rihanna @ the Italian restaurant. Oh boy. (It was quite interesting to watch it all unfold sipping on my lemon waters all night). I was a bit worried our friends & fam would have too much fun before our wedding but it all turned out just fine.
