Orange You Cute?!

While roaming the endless shops in Vegas & scouring my favorite online stores it is safe to say my love for tangerine colored things everything has continued! I happened to find the perfect orange lip color as well as fall madly in love with a few other orangetastic things.

Vegas Nights

Our days were spent lounging or shopping, our evenings were spent....dancing!

 This is what happens after three nights of dancing your booty off, no joke 16 blisters ( my blisters had blisters). My feet are still recovering. 

I am so thankful for my best friend, she made this trip unforgettable. I am so honored to have her stand next to me as my matron of honor! Less then 3 months until the big day!!

Vegas Days

Although I have been back from Vegas for a week already I still find myself daydreaming of the warm sun, amazing food, & endless shopping. Awww here are some of my favorite parts of how we spent our days.

Must Have Monday

Sorry for no feel good friday last week, I was not feeling very well. In fact I have been laid up in bed since Thursday. Oy. Two boxes of crackers, a gallon on juice, & two seasons of Royal Pains later I am still feeling this "flu". While I wish I could say this is just a case of exhaustion from Vegas, that is definitely not the case. I thought that my allergies were acting up while on vacation, little did I know I was actually getting sick. The trip was unbelievable, even though the late night dancing I am sure didn't help my overall health (oh well. so worth it). 

This trip I decided to splurge on something I have been dreaming over for quite some time. You may remember me even featuring it on my Christmas post. What is it? Nars Botan Kabuki brush. Yes you heard right. I finally added this to my makeup bag. I know you are thinking she bought a makeup brush of all things in Vegas?! Yes, I did. But, I also did it at Barneys which makes it even more fun. 

This brush is ideal for precise powder application. The black goat hair (known for its softness) and honkin' brush shape make it ideal for buffing & blending. That is why I use it to apply my bronzer to my cheek bones, forehead, & a swipe across the nose. I love love love love this. 

Vegas Packing

When I said on Friday my suitcase was overpacked, I wasn't kidding. I am going for 3 days & I packed enough outfits to switch every two hours. Ha. Well you can never be too safe. Here is what made it into my hot pink suitcase. My gf may or may not be bringing some goods I purchased in MN at the boutiques (online shopping it's an addiction). Whoops. Hope it all fits when I return home!

 I don't always fancy wearing dresses so I brought a slew of colored denim to choose from & my comfy Current Elliots for travel.

 In case I want to really sparkle at night I packed sequin options.

Lightweight silks. 

 Obviously I overpacked in the bra department. I know I know I am crazy obsessed with bralettes & bandeaus. 

 Headwear for laying out by the pool; vintage scarves and Free People knit headband.

It is safe to say I packed the bling. All my own pieces, literally alexa's collection. Teehee.

Feel Good Friday- Vegas Baby!

I am off to Vegas this weekend for my bachelorette fun with my best friend (also my matron of honor). Hard Rock here we come.. my suitcase is overpacked & I may or may not start drinking on the plane.

I think by now you have all figured out I love decorating my nails (notice how I don't call it painting, it is so much more than that). Check out my latest design...I think the gold is perfecto for my bachelorette party in Vegas. Bling.

 My strategy is to paint the entire finger and scrub the rest off in the shower. Ha. Use the paint brush to apply the glitter over the clear top coat. 

Soo funky fun make sure you add one final top coat so it holds the glitter down real good.
